As a master-level mental health professional (LMHP), licensed in Nebraska, I provide effective and affordable individual counseling to Nebraska clients in their adult through post-retirement years. Currently I accept insurance (see below) and cash-pay
for those who do not have health insurance. Cash-pay clients qualify for a discount if paying at the time of service.
All sessions can take place in office and via Telehealth.
Rates for insurance and cash-pay sessions:
Individual - $195/session
Couples and Families - $225/session

Clients have the right to, and will receive, a Good Faith Estimate (GFE) in accordance with the No Surprises Act effective 1/1/2022.

About Me
As a Nebraska-licensed Master-level Mental Health Professional (LMHP), I deliver effective, person-centered, and solution-focused counseling services to residents across the state, available both in-office and via Telehealth. Within a safe and caring environment, I cultivate self-awareness and guide clients to adopt new attitudes toward life situations by teaching logical thinking, grounding/coping strategies, and reliable goal setting.
I have been a teacher and school counselor since 1998, with vast experience in behavioral health. In 2020, I launched RayeBrook Behavioral Health, specializing in anxiety, depression, grief/loss, and life transitions. Certified in Gerontology and Adult-ADHD, I help clients manage behavioral health barriers that impede the achievement of personal goals.

I am certified in Gerontology and Adult-ADHD, helping clients overcome barriers to personal goals. In 2026, I began providing therapy at Nebraska Hematology Oncology (NHO) for clients navigating life with and beyond illness.​

It is essential to keep in mind that therapy is not a magic pill or a quick fix. Therapy is a healing process that necessitates participation and investment from the client and counselor alike. But in the end, making small changes to self-defeating behavior and coping with feelings of sadness, fear, and pain can bring life-altering results.
